Be careful not to confuse lungwort with lungmoss. Althea root leaves andor flowers in 12 cup cold water for 8 hours. Once water is boiling you can then turn the stove down to a simmer and let the herbs and oils infuse in this double boiler method for 30-60 minutes.

They infuse to make it a diaphoretic. Of dried and minced lungwort leaves and 1 cup of hot waterLeave the tea to infuse for 20 minutes and then strain it. Lungwort is generally infused for topical applications. Take 1 teaspoon of dried lungwort leaves add 150 ml of boiling water and steep for 10-15 minutes.
